Bologna Hosts Scientology Volunteer Ministers Exhibition

Scientology Volunteer Ministers Bring Their Yellow Tent to Bologna Bologna's Piazza Lucio Dalla is hosting the travelling yellow tent of the Volunteer Ministers of Scientology, where the exhibition will remain through 8 September. The inauguration brought together around 100 participants, including representatives of communities assisted by Volunteer Ministers after natural disasters. Among them was Pianoro Mayor Luca Vecchiettini, who spoke about the relationship established with the volunteers after severe flooding in 2024. Restaurateur Fabrizio Lazzarini also described how volunteers helped clear his mud-covered restaurant. Andrea Ferrarini, formerly involved with civil protection in Bondeno, also remembered assistance provided after the 2012 earthquakes. Created in 1976 by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard, the programme offers practical tools for communication, relationships and problem-solving alongside humanitarian response. Inside the Bologna tent, visitors can view photographs and videos documenting Volunteer Ministers activities while learning about practical approaches to interpersonal difficulties and daily problems. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to the EU, OSCE, Council of Europe and UN, described the Bologna initiative as an example news eu wahl of practical solidarity and civic responsibility.
